Winter Goals

I’ve been consistent. I’ve made some goals and I’ve missed some goals, but I’ve always been consistent. Some goals are seemingly easily attainable and leave me room for error. Error such as using sugar free sauces, drinking occasionally creating restarts, eating more than I should and throwing in foods that don’t really go with the plan at times.

Well, if I’m to conquer my three major winter goals, I won’t have any of that at my disposal. My winter goals go like this:

First and foremost, I want my knee fixed. Surgery, recovery and just an overall painless knee for once.

4 more %. Plenty of belly and chest fat to drop.

I’d like to complete a 5k and then run as many as I can in 2023. Maybe 4-5. I’d like to complete then easily and competitively. However, I’ll take just completing them… period, while running the whole time.

My second goal is to get to 12% body fat. I’m assuming I’m about 16% now. Seems easy, right? Wrong 😆. That 4% will take more strict dieting than I have ever done and harder more quantified lifting. In order to achieve this, I will need all 3 fitness categories in simpatico. Lifting, cardio, diet… also sleeping and mindfulness. It will not be easy.

No more neglecting legs, while building chest up. No more neglecting abs. Everything. Everyday. I will find the perfect combo. First, I must find a place to test my body fat. Then it’s on.

I will be going back to boxing, probably this week, as I’m on vacation. I’m 209 right now and I’m assuming I’ll be about 200 lbs in may. With just much less fat.

I need goals, I need a vision, I need to push myself. It’s my why? It’s my hobby. It’s what makes me feel alive. I don’t have a girl right now or kids (never will). This is what wakes me up in the am.

When I crush goals other things come to the forefront. Other opportunities come to me when I’m working hard. When this part is over and I’m in maintenance, I’d love to show others how to do it. How to be your best, strongest self. I want to create a program for others to thrive under.

Now to start building this program by trial and error. But. Always consistency!
